Virtual Consulation
Our 1 hour phone consultation offers expert design advice when you need it most. Over facetime or a phone call, we will walk through any space of your choosing to answer as many of your design questions you have. You can use your hour to accomplish whatever you'd like: ask all of the design questions you've been meaning to get a second opinion on, or use the time to work together to come up with a plan for your space, take measurements, discuss budget, goals, and next steps.
It will be a brainstorming session sure to leave you feeling energized, confident and ready to take on the next steps to your project.
tIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST FROM a virtual consult
-
Make a list of things that you don’t like or that don’t function well in the space. These are the decisions we should prioritize during our call.
-
It’s easy to get off track. With only one hour, we want to remain focused on the rooms and the pain points that were originally discussed. If you decide you need an additional follow-up call or in person consult, we can discuss afterward.
-
Now that you’ve booked me, make sure you have a clear understanding of what you want from our call. Do you need help with paint choices, furniture placement or lighting placement? Think about what it is that you need help with and be prepared with any questions you may have. That means taking some time to self reflect on what YOUR style is. What YOU want from the space you’re designing and be able to communicate that to me!
-
There is no such thing as a silly question. You hired me for a reason! Ask as many questions as you’d like, I will answer all of them to my best ability.
-
Depending on what your goal is, it might be worth it to take an inventory of the space and make a list of things that you are 100% keeping and things that are 100% going. It’s helpful to know what items are staying to have a place for them when offering advice.
-
This consult call is to help guide you in your next steps. It is not a full room design. During our call, you can expect me to offer insight, advice and answer questions *based on the information provided to me.* It usually feels like a lot of information at once, so I always follow up with an email to summarize everything we discussed.
